Creepcast is...
The channel itself originated with their debut video on November 17, 2023. It became the most shocking YouTube channel crossover to come to the internet in a very long time. Isaiah (Wendigoon) prior to this channel was becoming well known for his deep dive video essays in conspiracy theories, spooky tales, analog horror, and certain cryptids like The Wendigo, and much more. Already conveying his spooky nature through his channel and building his audience since September 5, 2020. While his co-star of the channel, Hunter (Papa meat) or (MeatCanyon) had already been on the internet, captivating weirdos with his art parodies since September 5 2015. Hunter has an impeccable talent of drawing the most haunting visuals I could ever think of. Turning beloved characters like Powerpuff Girls, Bugs Bunny (if you know you know), particular YouTubers, and celebrities into horrifying saturated creatures in his parody videos. The two together come into this channel to combine their weirdness and spooky talents to delve deep into the internets creepy lore. Each video is something different either the internets most popular creepypastas or even beautifully written independent stories from reddit. While having nearly 900k subscribers, you would be shocked to know only 0.1% are women, yes that's right only 7 females make up some of the subscribers.

I think I will update weekly as new eps come out with my thoughts and reviews.
Aug 23, 2026 | The Axe Wielder
At the very start, Issiah says 'You have to be short and clever about it. You can't just be like, "It felt like this, but it felt like something else, too." That little cheap drinks and cheaper clientele is fun. It is worldbuilding stuff like that. That's what I wish more writers we read would do stuff like that.' I believe is a very good way to insight certain writers to find that sweet spot. But anywast today's episode is a doozy! Hunter got a chance to film this after his long 24 hour shift at the coal mine. The story starts off as a classic deal with the Devil type. 'Every guitar center is a portal to hell'. Yes Hunter. You would be correct.
I would actually like to hear Johnny Styx live in concert please. At 22:45 Papa startes laying down HEAVY vocals. This episode seems like your usual fun that is the chemistry between the guys when they're enjoying a story. In another life Hunter would be a famous rockstar who sold his soul. The idea behind the story is so good and without thinking exacly about the logistics its a very solid story, the idea of instead of specifically making a deal with the devil you instead give yourself to the instrument that will carry you into fame is very cool. I really like how not only is the author telling you when the guitar needs more blood, but shows the difference in the cadence of it's performance before and after it's feedings. But in specific regards to the overal story I think by comparrison is a lot more enticing. I agree a lot with Issiah when he mentions the overal pacing and the bones of the story itself, becasue 'I Solved The Fermi Paradox' hooked you but did not continue to reel you in. Whereas here in this story you get this build up of the enity that is the guitar and even question where this will go to the point when Johnny walks out to Bud, you never expected him to use someone elses blood.
All and all I would say this was a pretty good short story, theres a lot to build on to make it a series I believe. But what did you think of it?
Aug 16, 2026 | I solved the Fermi Paradox
I will tell you right now. They do not actually solve the fermi paradox. This week's episode surrounds itself around the Fermi Paradox which encompasses the lack of alien life when our universe is so vast, to quickly sum it up. However. That never gets addressed within the story. At the beginning we start off very strong with a very good hook I might say that keeps a viewer/listener with their eyes and ears peeled. In part one the author writes a perfect balance of discriptive narrative of what it's like to see these cursed things after being granted the miracle to see again while leaving the audience questioning the corner of their own reality.
A series of prosthetic surgeries, granting the blind to see again, become horrorific nightmares after patients find they can see more than just this plane of exisitence. Isiah says a mouthful when he states 'always like the idea that rather than like extraterrestrial beings, it's extradimensional beings. So, it's like they're around us, but they just exist beyond our three-dimensional reality', and I think that is maybe what the story title was actually going for and not about the black sea that is space. But its somewhat cryptic and mystic the way the author describes the horror he finds when he can finally see. That is a very compelling first few sentences of the story. This is were the funniest bit of the epsidoe comes in and is birthed. "Caliven saw farmers in kansas. He saw obsese farmers in Kansas and he's like "GET ME OUT!!" The beginning.
As funny as this bit will turn out to be, the downward spiral of this story needs to be studied. The gay farmer bit however I cannot let down due to actually how funny this is, and if you told me they have read a story about a gay farmer and his creature I would believe you, because this is that kind of channel that would do that. For Issiah, this is his own 'I Dared My Best Friend To Ruin My Life'. You can see the guys when they first started at the beginning of the story and how different they looked when it ended. So of course I reccommend you yourself to go out and watch it yourself and come up with your own opinion, was it actually good and I am missing something or what.
Aug 9, 2026 | The Sandman
This was... an interesting story. One of the many times I believe the guy's chemistry is what is carrying the episode. Usually that happens when the story itself they are reading really isn't all that good and they almost get a kick of it because they can't believe what they are reading. Now I did have to watch this like three times to understand what the story itself is actually about. And each time I did go back and rewatch the more I realized you can spot exactly when Wendgioon is feeling something ain't right about himself. Of course there had to be a Metallica refference, it's sandman after all but Hunter KILLED it. Hunter saying 'Nevermore' in the douchiest way possible was what I needed to continue on with Sunday Creeps. The beginning of it jumps you straight in. As far as I know you don't get very many lines before jumping into the monster of the story, which was funny. And I think it's not all that bad, it tries really hard to be moving and convey a deeper meaning than what is just there to work with. It was very funny to see Papa struggle to lock in and actually focus all the while Wendigoon was struggling to be alive.
Why make a shrine?
My love started with Wendigoon. Enjoying all of his cryptid icebergs, his conspiracy theory videos and his videos that introduced me to Mouthwash, Blood Meridan, Holy Trinity. He was one of the first youtubers I geniunely considered as a comforting channel. I had always watched Papa Meat unironically, being there at the height of the bugs bunny video. It wasn't until years later I found he had made a scary movie tier list for Halloween with Wendigoon. I was barely becoming a fan of Wendigoon and when that collab came out it felt so perferct. A perfect blend of weirdos. When Creepcast the Podcast came out I nearly freaked out, I didn't expect this duo to be so good! I have been creepin' my cast every sunday since. I honestly cant remember when I started watching.
